Our facilities

A modern, purpose built home, 1 Sewardstone Close offers everything required for ongoing rehabilitation in a bright, spacious and homely environment.

Designed to create a vibrant and stimulating atmosphere for those living with an acquired brain injury. The combination of our facilities and our staff team means that 1 Sewardstone Close really offers unique surroundings for young adults continuing on their rehabilitation pathway or who require a long term home with specialist care.

Because our home was purpose built we have the benefit of so many wonderful features.  Our lovely wide corridors make it easy for wheelchair users to get around and are prefect for those residents who are learning to use an electric wheelchair for the first time. We have various communal lounges so that residents can enjoy the company of their family and friends at any time in a spacious, homely setting. Two of our lounges have kitchens, which can be used both by residents and visitors providing a real home from home. The beautiful garden is for everyone to enjoy and has plenty of seating areas along with raised plant beds for any keen green fingers to use. As well as large lounge spaces on each floor for residents to come together and enjoy all that goes on, there is a fully equipped fitness suite to allow individuals to meet personal goals with our in-house fitness coach.

The large bedrooms which have been designed to fit specialist beds and equipment all have en-suite bathrooms and are equipped with flat screen TVs and internet access. Some rooms have their own small patio area with direct access to the garden and some are equipped with kitchenettes to encourage further independence. For people who require hoisting, we have overhead hoists in the bedrooms and communal areas.
