Vic Fitzwalter

Vic Fitzwalter Deputy Manager

Vic has extensive experience in the care sector working in acute settings for over 15 years. He began his career working with young adults with neurological conditions, autism and severe learning disabilities. During his career Vic has achieved high level qualifications in Health and Social Care. He worked in senior positions within this sector before moving to 1 Sewardstone Close in March 2012 where he continues his passion for working with residents with neurological conditions. Vic continues to advance his career and is currently working towards a Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management.

Siobhan Wilhelm

Siobhan Wilhelm Clinical Lead

Siobhan is an RGN and has worked in neurological high dependency units and ABI environments since qualifying with honours. She has worked in London Charing Cross hospital  and Ramsey Health, both high dependency nursing environments which enhanced her skills to a high level. Her passion is in Neuroscience and the Neurological  setting.

Pollyanna To

Pollyanna To Physiotherapist

Pollyanna qualified as a registered physiotherapist in 2005 and has worked in the private sector in both the acute and community settings. Since 2010 when she developed and coordinated a new rehabilitation unit, she has worked with both young adults and adults with a range of complex neurological conditions, including acquired brain injury, strokes, disorders of consciousness and unusual communication needs.

Sana Mahmoud

Sana Mahmoud Speech and Language Therapist

Sana is registered with the RCSLT and HCPC and has a background in Psychology from her undergraduate degree and competed her MSc in Speech and Language Sciences from University College London. She has experience of managing communication needs and swallowing disorders in adults with acquired neurological impairment in a range of settings within the community, this includes neuro-rehabilitation units, outpatient clinic settings as well as  seeing clients in their own homes. Sana ensures her therapy is functional, meaningful and empowering. She uses a client centered approach with goal setting and works closely with families and staff. She has a special interest in voice and swallowing disorders.

Dr Gianetta Rands

Dr Gianetta Rands Psychiatrist

Dr Rands is dual registered in general and old age psychiatry. She retired from the NHS in 2015 after 34 years, mostly as a consultant psychiatrist specialising in cognitive impairments due to dementias and delirium, mental capacity assessments and management, and the diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric illnesses presenting in older people. Throughout her career she has had major roles in postgraduate training, as Membership Examiner, and on several Committees of the Royal College of Psychiatrists. These continue as she develops her private practice and medicolegal work. She is approved as S12 Assessor for the Mental Health Act and Medical Assessor for the Mental Capacity Act.

Dr Neil Parrett

Dr Neil Parrett Psychologist

Dr Parrett is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist, specialising in neurorehabillitation. He provides detailed neuropsychological assessment and treatment, working with both our clients and their families. He also provides expert training and support for the clinical team here at Sewardstone Close, ensuring we are providing the most up to date interventions available.

Michael Lacey

Michael Lacey Therapy Assistant

Michael has worked in the care sector for almost 6 years, starting his journey by working for Carebase in one of their residential dementia care homes as a Senior Carer. After taking a brief hiatus from the care sector he returned back to the company as a Senior Rehab Assistant at 1 Sewardstone Close. Michael recently joined the therapy team in the role of Therapy Assistant supporting residents and therapists with carrying out their rehabilitation programmes.

Theresa Cavalla

Theresa Cavalla Lifestyle Coach

Theresa has worked with adults in the care sector for 5 years. Having a passion for cooking and a certificate in art and design she ensures that all of our residents are stimulated with daily, meaningful activities such as glass painting, tiled mosaics and restoring and decorating old pieces of furniture using special paint effects and decoupage. She also runs dinner and brunch clubs which include residents choosing their own meals and participating in the preparation and cooking, especially foods from around the world.

Curtis Ujeh

Curtis Ujeh Fitness Coach

Curtis has been a Personal Trainer for 8 years and has a client base ranging from 15 to 81 years of age. Previously, Curtis was a professional footballer from the age of 15 turning pro at 18 for Reading FC and has since played for other clubs such as Yeovil, Exeter City, Tamworth and Crawley Town.  Curtis’s role at 1 Sewardstone Close is to help residents to rehabilitate as well as help them with a fitness regime including weight training and various training exercises to aid their general health and wellbeing.

Lynn Whelan

Lynn Whelan Administrator

Lynn worked for 8 years in the Fashion Industry as the Secretary of the Production Director for Burberry of London before taking a break to start a family. Since returning to work  Lynn has worked in the care sector for 9 years, working as an Administrator at a Psychiatric Home for Southern Cross and Home Administrator for Ranc Care Homes before joining the team at 1 Sewardstone Close.
