Our Care Home is a Finalist in the Care Home Awards 2026

We're delighted that 1 Sewardstone Close is a finalist in the national awards for Best for Specialist Care!

The Care Home Awards recognise innovation and excellence in care, from business management to care delivery. We have been shortlisted in the ‘Best for Specialist Care’ category, which recognises our dedicated team’s commitment to improving the outcomes and quality of life for our residents.

At 1 Sewardstone Close, rehabilitation is not treated as a programme – it’s a way of living. Every interaction is purposeful. Every conversation, therapy session, shared meal or moment in the garden is an opportunity to rebuild skills, confidence and identity for people living with acquired brain injury and complex neurological conditions.

Our slow-stream neurorehabilitation model, delivered in a vibrant, home-from-home environment, continues to transform lives. Whether it’s supporting a resident to regain mobility and independence with a one-arm-drive wheelchair, reconnecting someone with a lifelong passion for sailing, facilitating family reunions abroad, or simply making it possible for loved ones to stay overnight together for the first time in years – these are life-changing outcomes made possible by extraordinary people.

To be recognised at a national level is an honour. To see residents rebuild their lives – that is the real achievement.

We are looking forward to finding out if we have won our category and the winners will be announced at a gala event on 15th of May.
